Key Responsibilities include
- Contracting & Commercial Advisory - Review, draft, and negotiate Client Engagement Letters (ELs), Standard Terms of Business (SOTB), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Draft and negotiate legal contracts across client, vendor, employment, and strategic partner engagements. Provide advocacy and advisory support to senior leadership in high-risk scenarios including commercial legal advice to business leaders
Disputes & Litigation Oversight - Anticipate, identify, and manage legal risks, including disputes and litigation matters. Develop legal strategies in consultation with external counsel where required.
Corporate Governance & Compliance - Track and maintain compliance with statutory requirements for the region, including compliance with the corporate governance and employment laws. Support the Dhruva-Ryan Joint Venture’s Board of Directors, including facilitating meetings and corporate governance.
Employment Law & Ethics - Support global employment counsel on employment cases.
Facilitate activities of the POSH Committee, coordinate with Ryan’s Ethics and Compliance team, and implement its training and policies.
Monitor changes in the legal external environment, advise on company response.
Qualifications and Experience
Skills:
Qualified lawyer with minimum 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience. LL.B. / LL.M. from a reputed law university in India / National law universities.
Strong exposure to consultancy, tax advisory, or professional services organization preferred.
Proven experience in client contracting, vendor agreements, and employment law.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with SharePoint/document management systems.
Demonstrated ability to develop internal and external networks.
