JOB PURPOSE

Based at the Head Office, the Lead of Operations Control will serve as the central nerves of the supply chain. You will lead a high-performing team of associates to monitor, analyse, and drive Pan-India operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that warehouse performance (CFA/In-house) and transportation (Primary/Secondary/Last Mile) align with the company’s goals for cost leadership, 100% order fulfilment, and "Best-in-Class" vendor and customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operations Control Tower & Performance Tracking

- Real-time Monitoring:
Manage a central team to track daily inbound/outbound pendency and transit health across all nodes.
- Performance Reviews:
Lead weekly/monthly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with Warehouse Managers, 3rd Party CFAs, and Transport partners.
- Incident Management:
Act swiftly on operational deviations; identify bottlenecks in real-time and execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

2. Transportation & Last Mile Optimization

- Vendor Funnel Management:
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of Primary and Secondary logistics vendors to ensure capacity and competitive bidding.
- Cost Leadership:
Drive aggressive last-mile cost reduction projects through route optimization, load consolidation, and carrier performance management.
- Financial Oversight:
Ensure timely invoice booking and payment cycles to maintain superior vendor relationships and service continuity.

3. Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation

- Systems Integration:
Lead the implementation and automation projects for WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transport Management System).
- Standardization:
Create and enforce SOPs across all Pan-India warehouses to ensure process uniformity and quality.
- Reporting Automation:
Shift the team from manual trackers to automated, real-time dashboards (Power

BI /Tableau) for "single source of truth" data.

4. Inventory Health & Dispute Resolution

- Inventory Integrity:
Direct Pan-India inventory audits and cycle counts; drive projects to reduce "Bad Inventory" and stock aging.
- Returns Management:
Execute strategic projects to minimize RTO (Return to Origin) and warehouse damages.
- Dispute Management:
Act as the final escalation point for complex disputes between vendors, transporters, and warehouses.

5. Customer Centricity & Service Level Agreements (SLA)

- Order Fulfilment:
Guarantee 100% Pan-India order fulfilment by balancing stock across regions.
- Customer Delight:
Focus on reducing "Order-to-Delivery" lead times and improving the "Perfect Order" metric.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : BE /B Tech / PG – MBA

WORK EXPERIENCE:

8-12 years preferably in consumer durables industry
