Experience:

- 18–20+ years of experience in B2B / project-based sales
- Experience in capital equipment, healthcare, or industrial segments preferred
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing large accounts

Tasks and Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Sales & Business Growth

• Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with national WPI objectives

• Drive Order Entry and Net Sales targets for the region

• Ensure strong CRM funnel management and opportunity conversion

• Identify and pursue large, strategic, and government sector projects

• Expand regional market share and strengthen brand presence

2. Large Deal & Project Conversion Leadership

• Lead closure of high-value and complex project opportunities

• Drive structured opportunity reviews and conversion strategies

• Engage with senior-level stakeholders, consultants, and key decision-makers

• Support NKAM initiatives and national strategic accounts

3. Financial & Profitability Ownership

• Own regional P&L elements including margin and GGP targets

• Drive pricing discipline and commercial governance

• Ensure achievement of DSO and collection targets

• Monitor deal profitability and risk exposure

4. Team Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop Regional / Area Sales Managers

• Drive performance management, coaching, and succession planning

• Build accountability and execution excellence within the regional team

• Foster a high-performance and results-oriented culture

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with National Project Implementation, Planning, Procurement, and Service teams

• Ensure smooth transition from order booking to project execution

• Resolve commercial and execution escalations proactively

• Align sales forecasts with planning and supply chain teams

6. Market Intelligence & Strategic Inputs

• Provide regular market trends, competitor insights, and customer feedback

• Identify emerging opportunities in Government, Institutional, and Private sectors

• Contribute to national business reviews and strategic planning discussions

Additional Roles:

• Represent the region in leadership reviews and management forums

• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and ethical standards

• Support marketing initiatives including exhibitions, seminars, and customer engagement programs

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
