Conducting field surveys in marine environments to study marine life, ecosystems, and biodiversity.
Utilizing various sampling data collected through techniques, including underwater diving, netting, and remote sensing.
Collecting and analyzing biological, physical, and chemical data from marine samples.
Identifying and classifying marine species, including fish, invertebrates, and algae.
Maintaining accurate records of species encountered during research/ survey activities.
Assessing the health and status of marine ecosystems, identifying potential threats and stressors.
Providing recommendations for the conservation and restoration of marine habitats.
Working closely with conservation organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions.
Contributing to environmental impact assessments related to marine projects.
Evaluating the potential ecological effects and propose mitigation measures.
Communicating and creating awareness to the staff and public through outreach programs, presentations, and educational materials to raise awareness about marine conservation.
