Role Overview
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced
Ford Master Technician
to join their workshop team. This role is responsible for advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of Ford vehicles to manufacturer standards, supporting both light-duty and commercial fleets.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out advanced diagnostics using Ford IDS/FDRS and other approved diagnostic tools
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
Perform engine, transmission, driveline, brake, suspension, and steering repairs
Ensure all work complies with Ford manufacturer standards and safety requirements
Complete job cards, diagnostic reports, and warranty documentation accurately
Support and mentor junior technicians where required
Liaise with service advisors on technical findings and repair recommendations
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Keep technical knowledge current with Ford updates and training bulletins
Required Qualifications and Experience
Ford Master Technician certification
(current or recently held)
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience working on Ford vehicles
Strong diagnostic capability across modern petrol and diesel engines
Experience with commercial vehicles and fleet maintenance preferred
Proven ability to work independently on complex technical issues
Valid driver’s licence
Technical Skills
Advanced fault-finding and root-cause analysis
Electrical and electronic systems diagnostics
Use of OEM diagnostic platforms and workshop equipment
Strong understanding of warranty repair processes
