About this opportunity
Transfer Center Experience & Operations Coordinator supporting identification, recruitment, enrollment and support of transfer students.
Responsibilities- Serve as first point of contact at the Transfer Center via in-person, phone, email, and virtual appointments.
- Provide organizational program support for all transfer admissions recruitment activities, manage the master travel calendar, authorizations, expense vouchers, and maintain documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service to prospective, admitted, and new students, resolving inquiries and providing referrals.
- Reserve recruitment vehicles, coordinate with Transportation, and maintain documentation.
- Perform data entry in Slate, verify student records, and produce statistical reports.
- Coordinate projects, meetings, and schedule guest speakers for staff.
- Process fair registration forms and payment of fair registration fees.
- Prepare printed and digital materials, supervise registration of Transfer Visit Days and appointments.
- Manage communication through the Transfer Center email, including scheduling of appointments.
- Itemize program budgets, monitor spending, and produce a yearly budget overview.
- Assist with professional transfer staff search process, create interview schedules, and coordinate interviews.
- Understand university policies and procedures, respond to correspondence, and refer to other campus offices.
- Act as backup to the Welcome Center for campus visit check‑in and registration procedures.
- Research transfer‑related topics as needed.
- Maintain multiple filing systems, electronic and cabinet.
- Assist with call campaigns during the semester.
- Properly dispose of outdated confidential documents.
- Maintain cooperation with other campus and external offices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- At least 18 months of education or training beyond high school in a business‑related area.
- 1–3 years of experience in administration, customer service, computer, oral, and written communication.
- Associate’s degree (preferred).
- Experience in a college admissions office (preferred).
- Current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- 10–24 vacation days (paid), 12 sick days, 10 holidays per year.
