** About this opportunity:
** Housing and Residence Life is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the technology and systems that manage work orders, facility maintenance requests, and housing operations. This position is responsible for administering work order systems, maintaining data accuracy, developing reports, supporting housing and card access systems, documenting processes, and collaborating with campus partners to ensure efficient operations across residential facilities. The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys working with technology and data, and is committed to improving processes and system functionality.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the United States without employer sponsorship.
** What you'll do and what you'll bring:
**** Position Function:
** Develop and maintain all work order systems for students living in the residence halls, housing and residence life staff, summer conference guests, vendors/contractors, and others needing access to residential facilities. This includes entering and reviewing data for accuracy; communicating needs with housing facilities, integrating data between housing systems and university systems, report writing, identifying and reporting on larger trends related to work orders.
This position will also assist with other HRL systems including card access and housing management systems, report writing, documentation, and other IT systems functions.

* Duties & Responsibilities:
**** 1.
** In collaboration with the Assistant Director Housing Systems and Technology, develop and maintain all work order electronic systems for students living in the residence halls, housing and residence life staff, summer conference guests, vendors/contractors, and others needing access to residential facilities.
** 2.
** Enter and review work order data for accuracy, communicating needs with housing facilities team, integrating data between housing systems and university systems.
** 3.
** Write effective reports to determine longitudinal trends, workflow, workload, and identify on-going housing facilities issues. Reports include monthly and/or weekly reports on posted changes, work backlog, space, area maintenance history, open cases, etc.
** 4.
** Administer preventative work orders in coordination with shop supervisors; set up projects in work order system as directed; update employee access information as needed.
** 5.
** Serve as back-up for Card Access and Housing Management Systems as needed.
** 6.
** Develop and implement regular audit protocols for access to work order systems including periodically reviewing permissions by responsibility, termination and permissions of access, safety procedures, and review protocols.
** 7.
** Establish comprehensive documentation of work order processes and procedures as well as documentation of all aspects of work order systems and integrations.
** 8.
** Foster strong relationships with internal and external campus partners related to work order systems and infrastructure.
** 9.
** Stay current on trends and updates related to work order and housing management systems.
** 10.
** Work collaboratively on the HRL IT Systems team and more broadly on the HRL Business Operations Team.
** 11**. Perform other related duties as assigned.
** 12.
** Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

*** Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in business, computer science or systems, or information technology, or equivalent.
* Three years related experience, including administrative and technical support.
