First Merchants Bank is seeking a Service Associate (Teller) to join our team! This position focuses on providing high‑quality customer service by accurately and efficiently completing bank transactions and suggesting products and services to meet customers’ current and future financial needs. We support you so you can exceed personal production goals while delivering a meaningful customer experience.

• Respond to customer requests for banking transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and problems with solutions that meet their current needs.
• Build customer loyalty and advocate relationships.
• Contribute to overall banking center operations by balancing cash, daily transactions, vault, and ATM.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
• Follow information security policy and verification procedures to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and or closing the banking center.
• Actively participate in a high‑performing sales environment by selling bank products, making referrals, and supporting sales goals.
• Know all bank products.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings and coaching sessions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience.
