Compensation: $3,000-$9,000 (part‑time)

The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part‑time instructors to teach a variety of art history courses, including AHS
101 Art in a Globalized World:
Art History before 1500CE, AHS
102 Art in a Globalized World:
Art History after 1500CE, and upper‑level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.

• Teach between one and three undergraduate art history courses.
• Communicate regularly with students, provide meaningful and timely assessments, post course information on Canvas, and submit grades and other reports on time.
• Work in both online and in‑person modalities.

• Master’s degree in art history or a related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
• One semester of teaching experience at the college level.

• Ph.D. in art history or a related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
• One year of teaching experience at the college level.
