Job Location:

Muncie, IN — Campus based, not remote.

Schedule:

Morning classes M–F 8:30–1:00 (9–22.5 hours per week). Evening classes M–TH 5:30–10:00 (9 hours per week).

• Teach the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Provide instruction during 4.5‑hour sessions (day or evening).
• Act as Primary Scheduled Instructor and as Secondary Instructor to step in as needed.
• Participate in tutoring and substitute duties as required.
• Maintain student records through current technology.
• Follow Ross curriculum and code of conduct.

• 3+ years experience in the medical‑assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
• Ability to obtain a national certification as a medical assistant. (If no formal education, must have 5+ years experience and a national certification.)
• Interest in teaching or prior experience.
• Passion to learn and grow.
• Physical ability to stand, move and facilitate student participation; able to meet reasonable accommodations.
• Visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use the telephone, read materials, use a whiteboard, and use classroom/office equipment.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a Ross representative.
• Ability to treat all students equally and remain objective.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Adheres to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.
• Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum preferred.
• Performs related work as required.
