About this opportunityThe Department of Architecture at Ball State University seeks applicants for multiple part‑time semester instructor positions available August 2026. Applications will remain active for one year; hiring may occur when a need arises.
Position DescriptionThis part‑time adjunct instructor will teach either design or studio courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Architecture. Duties and responsibilities include providing timely feedback and midterm grades to students.
Minimum QualificationsAn accredited Master of Architecture degree, master degree of specialization within the discipline of Architecture, or Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution, or candidate may qualify based on Tested Experience Criteria.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional license in Architecture;
- Master degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university;
- Evidence of quality design work;
- Evidence of contributions to the profession through professional practice and service;
- A record of quality teaching experience;
- Evidence of quality scholarship;
- Experience with contemporary design media.
