The Director of Integrated School Services serves as the second-in-command to the Head of School and supports the successful transition into Inspire Academy’s new leadership structure. This role combines key responsibilities previously executed by building leadership, while strengthening school wide systems connected to academics, behavior, MTSS, special education, compliance, operations, and family engagement.

This individual will serve as an execution-focused leader who helps ensure strong daily operations while supporting teacher growth, instructional consistency, intervention systems, and student achievement, particularly in mathematics and middle school performance. The role is critical in supporting change management as Inspire transitions from a founder-dependent structure into a Head of School model.

Core Responsibilities School Operations and Accountability
  • Support the Head of School with execution of school wide systems and operational priorities
  • Ensure consistency in scheduling, supervision, transitions, arrival/dismissal, and overall daily operations
  • Oversee compliance systems tied to testing, attendance, discipline, and reporting
  • Ensure school systems are aligned, documented, and consistently implemented
MTSS, Intervention, and Student Support
  • Lead school wide MTSS systems and teams, including academic and social-emotional supports
  • Support intervention teams in identifying, monitoring, and responding to student needs
  • Oversee progress monitoring and subgroup data analysis, especially in math and middle school grades
  • Support alignment and implementation of Eureka Math instructional expectations
  • Oversee special education systems, timelines, and compliance support alongside Teachers of Record and service providers
  • Ensure intervention systems are proactive, data-informed, and consistently implemented
Instructional Leadership and Teacher Development
  • Conduct walkthroughs, support coaching cycles, and teacher support meetings
  • Support implementation of benchmarking and progress-monitoring systems
  • Co-lead August coaching cycles and Summer Institute planning
  • Help ensure instructional consistency across grade bands and subject areas
Behavior, Culture, and Family Engagement
  • Oversee behavior documentation and referral systems
  • Improve consistency in behavior tracking, discipline plans, and family communication
  • Support movement toward restorative and culturally responsive practices while maintaining accountability
  • Develop systems for stronger parent engagement and communication
  • Ensure discipline systems are equitable, documented, and aligned with MTSS structures
Leadership and Change Management
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of School during leadership transition
  • Support onboarding of new staff and implementation of revised structures and expectations
  • Help sustain school culture while supporting organizational growth and accountability
  • Build staff self-efficacy through coaching, communication, and consistency
Leadership Alignment and Compliance Support
  • Partner closely with the Head of School to ensure appropriate staffing alignment for required IDOE district-level and compliance-based roles within the school’s small independent structure
  • Assist in identifying and recommending staff members whose expertise, licensure, experience, and operational strengths best align with state-required responsibilities such as testing coordination, school safety, technology oversight, special education compliance, food service oversight, and state reporting systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education Masters degree
    ;
    Indiana Administrative License or ability to obtain preferred
  • Experience in K–8 leadership, instructional coaching, or operations
  • Strong understanding of MTSS, intervention systems, and student support structures
  • Experience with special education compliance and school accountability systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change while maintaining positive culture and relationships
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
