About this opportunityThe Department of Biology invites part-time adjunct faculty appointments to teach undergraduates course(s) as needed. Potential areas of instruction include Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany, Biotechnology and Zoology.
Adjunct faculty are limited to teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. This position is NOT eligible for benefits.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Position DescriptionSuccessful candidates will teach under graduate courses as needed. Potential areas of instruction include Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany, Biotechnology and Zoology.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPart-time, contract faculty member will t each undergraduate courses in the Biology department. Teaching lecture or lab sections potentially in Life Science Education, Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Physiology, Wildlife Biology Policy, Botany or Biotechnology and Zoology.
Minimum QualificationsMasters Degree in Biology or related field by date of appointment.
Preferred QualificationsMasters degree or higher in Biology or related field and teaching experience at university or college level.
