Location:

Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.

Shift: This is a Full-Time Day position.

This location is a multi-discipline specialty center that offers PT, OT, and SLP services. Aquatic therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, lymphedema, neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, and vestibular rehabilitation are among the services offered here. There is a large team of therapists in this facility with many opportunities to learn from colleagues.

This position provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in treating pelvic health or willingness to train in pelvic health therapy required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great bedside manners
  • Adaptable to fast paced settings
Qualifications
  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in physical therapy.
  • If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
  • Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
