Location
2701 W. North Street, Muncie, IN. This building also houses our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine physician office as well as an OP Orthopedic Surgery Center.
Shift
Part-time position.
The Physical therapist assistants position provides direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistant students as well as provide guidance and supervision for support personnel. Willingly participate in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
PreferredSkills
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Adaptable to fast-paced settings.
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or foreign trained equivalent accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
