LocationBall Memorial Hospital (Muncie, IN); inpatient
Shift3‑4 days a week 8am‑4pm;
Saturdays/Holidays: 1 Saturday every 5‑6 weeks; 1‑2 Holidays/year based on rotation.
Performs inpatient speech pathology services to a 300 bed hospital and 16 bed acute rehab unit. Job duties can include diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment. After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing. Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

Qualifications- Requires a Master's Degree from an accredited academic program in speech pathology; or, if foreign trained, graduation from a speech pathology education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Requires current license in the State of Indiana.
- Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
