We are seeking a patient focused, detail oriented
* Patient Registration Specialist
* to support our Revenue Cycle Services team. In this vital frontline role, you will ensure each patient has a smooth, professional checkin experience—from point of entry through the completion of registration.
- Deliver exceptional patient-facing services within Revenue Cycle operations.
- Guide patients efficiently from checkin to their destination with professionalism and accuracy.
- Verify and document demographic, financial, and clinical information by interviewing patients or representatives.
- Perform insurance eligibility verification using automated tools and system workflows.
- Maintain a strong customer service approach during phone and in-person interactions.
- Greet patients and partners courteously and professionally.
- Conduct clear, respectful conversations regarding copay collection.
- Ensure timely, complete, and accurate demographic and benefit documentation.
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry
- Adaptability and willingness to support multiple registration departments
- Effective and efficient communication with patients, peers, and leadership
- Ability to think quickly and respond professionally
- Strong empathy and patient-focused mindset
- Experience in healthcare, patient access, or familiarity with medical terminology
- Customer service

- Healthcare navigation/patient access
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muncie, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
