Travel Physical Therapist

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26‑week assignment in Muncie, Indiana.

40 per week (8‑hour days)

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility.
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate patients and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• State license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Note:

Preferred candidates typically have 1 year experience.
