As a Licensed Practical Nurse you will be ensuring the well-being of patients while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, front office and clinical staff. This role is based in one of our location practices.

Location

Greenfield, IN. The primary center for this position is Greenfield, IN though you may also operate in other local work sites on an as needed basis.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals and answer patient calls as needed
  • Perform Clinical Intake with patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history
  • Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc.
  • Maintain clinical supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage of biohazards
  • Clean exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control
  • Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
  • Assist with allergy injections, mixing of allergy vials and allergy testing
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Additional Requirements for LPNs:
    • Valid Indiana LPN license
    • Current CPR Certification
  • Additional Requirements for MAs:
    • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or willing to attain that certification within 9 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience with electronic medical records software
  • CPR certification for MA's
  • Experience performing medical back office tasks including obtaining vital signs, injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis and administering medications
  • Experience performing medical front office tasks including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills and referrals
Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
