Senior Power BI Developer

Project Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade reporting, analytics, and process automation solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

The candidate should possess knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, data Modelling, and business intelligence best practices. The role will support business operations during AMS working hours, with a preference for candidates located in Mexico. Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI.
• Build and optimize complex data models, DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated business workflows using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and automation solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and performance across reporting solutions.
• Perform report optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Support deployment, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Power Platform solutions.

• 11-15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including:
  Data Modelling, DAX, Power Query, Report and Dashboard Development, Performance Optimization, Row‑Level Security (RLS).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power Automate for workflow and business process automation.
• Good understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and related services.
• Experience working with ETL tools and data integration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including cloud and on‑premises systems.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional Modelling, and BI best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
