Parts Manager

P4 Automotive in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee all aspects of the parts department, ensuring the right parts are in stock, properly priced, and accurately tracked. You'll manage inventory, vendor relationships, and purchasing, while supporting technicians and service advisors with timely parts sourcing. The role includes organizing the parts warehouse, monitoring margins, and managing returns and warranties.

You'll lead and schedule staff, maintain clean, accurate records in the shop management system, and uphold P4 Automotive's standards of integrity, clear communication, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department to support repair and maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Build and manage relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and timely deliveries.
• Support technicians and service advisors by quickly sourcing correct parts and alternatives.
• Set and monitor parts pricing, margins, and discounts in line with company targets.
• Process warranties, cores, and returns efficiently and in compliance with vendor policies.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient parts storage area and front counter.
• Use shop management and parts catalog software to track orders, inventory, and sales.
• Train, schedule, and guide parts staff to uphold customer-first service and communication standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast parts needs and support continuous process improvements.
