Vice President of Family Center Operations

The Vice President of Family Center Operations is responsible for overall operations experience. This individual will provide cause-driven leadership and coaching to the director of operations and facilities product line team, with a focus on the member experience, and overall aesthetic of the building. As a Senior Leader this position will ensure successful experiences for all at the family centers of the YMCA of South Florida, including membership, facilities, volunteer recruitment, staff supervision, community relations, collaborations, budgeting, and financial results.

Director support of all Family Center Boards and fundraising.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of successful operations experience in a variety of YMCA’s or similar operations required.
• Proven track record managing strategic partnerships and contracts.
• Possess experience in leadership retention and development, developing 1-3-5-year strategic plan for operations.
• Minimum of eight years of supervisory experience overseeing leadership staff.
• Ability to relate to top community leaders and diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Experience working closely with Board members and other Volunteers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to individuals at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills, organized and detail-oriented.
