Job Description

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team-oriented Hospitalist department. This position is located in Muncie IN
, at our Ball Memorial Hospital.

• Full Time, Day Shift
• 4-10-hour shifts a week with a set mid-weekday off every week
• 100% Outpatient
• No Call

• Extensive chart review prior to appointment
• EKG interpretation, lab evaluation and in person examination of patients
• All of this will be compiled to determine any preoperative testing or consults needed, medication holds, and surgical risk assessment
• APP will also be responsible for interpretation of follow up testing and consults.
• Will work directly with 1 physician and 5 APPs

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• ACNP, FNPa or PA certifications required
• Experienced APP but new grads within hospital or pre/intra/post-surgical experience would be considered
• Clinical background should be an experienced APP working in preoperative medicine or with hospitalist experience
