NP-PA-Hospitalist-Pre-Op Clinic; Ball Memorial Hospital

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team-oriented Hospitalist department.

Location:

Muncie, IN at Ball Memorial Hospital.

• Full Time, Day Shift
• 4-10 hour shifts a week with a set weekday off every week
• 100% Outpatient
• No Call

• Extensive chart review prior to appointment
• EKG interpretation, lab evaluation and in person examination of patients
• Compile findings to determine preoperative testing or consults needed, medication holds, and surgical risk assessment
• Interpret follow up testing and consults
• Work directly with 1 physician and 5 APPs

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• ACNP, FNP or PA certifications required
• Experienced APP but new grads with hospital or pre/intra/post-surgical experience considered
• Clinical background experienced in preoperative medicine or hospitalist experience
