The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing candidate is highly detail oriented, organized, and possesses comprehensive knowledge of policies and government regulations.
Responsibilities- Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with company policies, nursing practice standards, and government regulations to maintain quality care.
- Delegate administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors for their assigned duties.
- Registered Nurse in good standing with a required current state license.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
- Preferred 1 to 2 years of management/supervisory experience.
- Current/active CPR certification.
