Registered Nurse - GI - Ambulatory Triage Job Description
Part-time and Full‑time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. This position is also referral eligible.

Join the Ambulatory GI Clinic at Indiana University Health, where you’ll deliver patient‑centered care and guide patients throughout their digestive health journey in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Enjoy a consistent schedule of 4 days per week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (clinic hours Monday–Friday), offering strong work‑life balance with one day off.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient‑centered care and guide patients through their digestive health journey.
- Support a growing care team that includes multiple physicians, clinic and inpatient NPs.
- Coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective, timely manner.
- Assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
- Knowledge of procedures for performing functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated equipment and supplies.
- Ability to coordinate functions for a group of patients in an effective, timely manner.
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
- Capability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
