Clinical Placement and Compliance Coordinator
About this OpportunityThe School of Nursing is a collaborative, student‑centered community dedicated to preparing the next generation of nurses. As our programs grow, the team works together to support excellent teaching and strong partnerships. This on‑campus, in‑person position helps keep the expanding school running smoothly by managing key clinical processes and supporting daily operations.
What You'll Do- Coordinate and manage clinical placements for baccalaureate and graduate students in collaboration with Program Directors and healthcare/community partners.
- Oversee health clearance and compliance for faculty and students enrolled in nursing programs; monitor stakeholders and notify when they are out of compliance.
- Develop and disseminate communication to students regarding compliance policies and expectations.
- Ensure documents submitted in CORE‑ELMS align with the required clinical placement workflow process.
- Collect and organize semester‑ly clinical site placement data and unit usage from BS faculty; provide documentation and information from CORE‑ELMS, for ISBN, and accreditation reports.
- Assist students with purchasing compliance systems and orient/train on CORE, American Data Bank, and CB Bridges.
- Coordinate and manage student orientations and update content related to clinical placement and compliance.
- Develop and deliver onboarding/orientation for preceptors, outlining clear outcomes and expectations.
- Serve as liaison to clinical agencies for security, EMR, and badge access; request and manage access for each student.
- Assist with clinical site procurement and serve as an ex‑officio, non‑voting member of the Baccalaureate and Graduate Curriculum Committee and the Graduate Admission and Progression Committee.
- Collaborate with the Division of Online and Strategic Learning to support state authorization processes.
- Promote the online nursing programs through outreach and relationship‑building with clinical partners; participate in outreach events as needed.
- Maintain accurate records for program compliance and accreditation requirements; supervise student employee(s).
- Serve as backup support for other staff and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education or experience; an additional four years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- One year of related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and database software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to learn and use multiple electronic systems.
- Health Professions degree.
- Additional years of experience.
- Supervisory experience.
