Join the Urology Ambulatory Clinic as a Triage RN, where you’ll play a critical role in delivering timely, patient-centered care through clinical assessment, care coordination, and patient education. Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse urology patient population and is staffed by a collaborative team of 4 surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
In this fast-paced environment, primary responsibilities include telephone triage, patient rooming, and supporting provider and nurse-led visits, including APP nurse visits. You’ll assess patient needs, provide education, coordinate care, and ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care throughout their treatment journey.
The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a predictable schedule and excellent work-life balance in an ambulatory setting.
Qualifications- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Associate of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
- Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated equipment and supplies.
- Ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
