The School has clinical instructional opportunities for well-qualified nurse educators Tues. through Sun.

- morning, afternoon, and evening - in our expanding undergraduate program.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

** What you'll do and what you'll bring:
**** Position

Description:

** Part-time, contract faculty member with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate courses. Work assignments, days, times, and locations vary. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, critical care, childbearing families, and other courses as appropriate.

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Teach in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses.
* Keep abreast of recent developments in nursing and incorporate into teaching.
* Actively contribute to the professional life of the School of Nursing, the College of Health, and Ball State University.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment; AND
* Clinical nursing experience in area of teaching; AND
* Ability to communicate effectively
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Teaching experience in higher education;
* Earned doctorate in nursing or related field from an accredited college or university.
** Required Certifications/Licensures:
*** Current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License by date of appointment.
