Job Overview

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Technician to support production quality, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspections and testing on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods

  • Ensure products meet specifications through visual and measurement inspections

  • Review quality reports and take action when product quality does not meet standards

  • Assist with new product launches, product improvements, and specification updates

  • Conduct internal product and quality system audits and document findings

  • Investigate customer quality complaints and support corrective actions

  • Maintain quality documentation, records, and daily production quality reports

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, scorecards, and quality metrics

  • Recommend process improvements to increase quality and productivity

  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing, assembly, or quality experience

  • Ability to read and understand product specifications and quality standards

  • Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and data collection skills

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Basic mechanical understanding of production equipment

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
