Job Overview
Field Store Associate at Lowe’s stores will drive and increase sales, engage customers in the Paint and Pro departments, generate leads, implement sales and marketing programs, provide exceptional customer service, and manage merchandising.
Part‑time position based at Store #116, 4401 W Clara Ln, Muncie, IN 47304.
Schedule:
weekdays/afternoons/weekends per business needs.
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Provide excellent sales service and high customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers and determine needs, present appropriate products and services.
- Build productive relationships and trust with wholesale and retail customers.
- Maintain Pro customer color files.
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications as needed.
- Maintain store appearance, color wall, back‑stock, and inventory best practices.
- Provide in‑store Pro Desk paint support, real‑time customer needs, paint program execution, and in‑store promotional events.
- Promote Sherwin‑Williams and Valspar brand standards and product strengths.
- Train Lowe’s associates on product knowledge, application methods, and eLearning modules.
- Ensure HR Cloud trainings are up to date and within compliance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship.
- Physically able to retrieve materials and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
- Experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
