Position Function:
Under supervision, perform service required in the operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, and related equipment, complying with EPA, OSHA, and all appropriate regulations and codes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and repair work on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, and report work performed on Preventive Maintenance Forms.

Requires the physical ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, stand and/or stoop for long periods of time, and exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. Task requires the visual ability to distinguish color and perceive depth. Task requires the ability to operate various hand and power tools, ladders, scaffolds, and measuring instrumentation and equipment.

Employee is exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold, high humidity, noise, heights, fumes, odors, oils, chemicals, dust, and may be required to wear a filter mask, respirator, and various protective clothing and/or equipment. Task requires the mental ability to receive, follow, and provide oral instructions and information and to read, comprehend, follow, and provide written instructions and information.
2. Troubleshoot, adjust, repair and calibrate controls on all HVAC equipment.

Requires the physical ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, stand and/or stoop for long periods of time, and exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly. 3. Inspect, maintain, and lubricate HVAC related pumps, motors, dampers, and other related equipment; inspect and clean coils and fans; inspect belts, vibration absorbers, and other related equipment.
