This is a full‑time, on campus opportunity. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Under supervision, perform duties related to work in electrical maintenance, involving work up to 600 volts, complying with appropriate regulations and codes.
Duties & Responsibilities- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship program in Electricity as approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, or six (6) years of experience as an Electrician, or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge can be acquired as determined by Ball State University.
- Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, University policies, procedures, and communications, and perform mathematical calculations.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.
- Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Vocational school training.
This is a second shift position: 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, Monday thru Friday.
