Our client is a well-established, multi-entity organization seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join their corporate finance team. This highly visible role will oversee statutory and GAAP reporting activities, support external audits, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting across multiple entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial reporting, including schedules, exhibits, and supporting disclosures for regulatory filings
  • Manage quarterly and annual GAAP consolidation activities, including elimination entries, work papers, and financial statement analysis
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of audited financial statements and supporting documentation for legal entities
  • Perform detailed variance analysis on financial results to identify significant fluctuations, trends, and reporting issues
  • Support reporting provided to executive leadership, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders
  • Review and coordinate responses related to regulatory inquiries, surveys, and requests for information
  • Research and interpret evolving accounting and reporting guidance to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or public accounting background preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and consolidation accounting required
  • Experience working within highly regulated, multi-entity, or complex organizational structures preferred
  • Background supporting audits, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting research
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across cross-functional teams
