The Village of Mundelein is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Village Engineer. Under the general direction of the Director and Assistant Director of Public Works & Engineering, this hands‑on leader will plan, direct, and manage the Village’s engineering functions — from transportation infrastructure and utilities to capital improvement projects, development review, and construction management. The Village Engineer will provide technical leadership to engineering staff, consultants, and contractors while ensuring compliance with Village standards and state and federal regulations and applying sound engineering practices.
Starting salary for this position is $126,000.
