Senior Payroll Coordinator

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities For The Senior Payroll Coordinator
  • Lead weekly in-house payroll processing, including final validation of payroll outputs and union allocations
  • Maintain and audit employee payroll data, including pay rates, deductions, and terminations
  • Manage retirement contributions and ensure accurate file transmissions to third-party providers
  • Prepare and review payroll tax filings, including quarterly returns and W-2s
  • Resolve complex payroll inquiries, including multi-state tax and garnishment calculations
  • Support and mentor junior payroll staff while driving process improvements
Qualifications For The Senior Payroll Coordinator
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands‑on payroll experience (union + in-house payroll required; construction preferred)
  • Strong experience with payroll tax filing and compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., CMiC, eCMS, Tableau or similar) and advanced Excel skills

Qualified candidates will be compensated at a market competitive basis of $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
