An established manufacturer is seeking a senior-level Emulsion Coating Technical Consultant to stabilize and optimize water-based adhesive coating operations. This is a hands-on, on-site engagement focused on improving coating quality, eliminating defects, and supporting consistent commercial production.

• Enhance coating uniformity and significantly reduce cross-web variation to improve overall product consistency.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve coating defects in a live production environment with minimal disruption.
• Optimize die performance, flow distribution, and web handling to achieve stable, repeatable coating results.
• Support process scale‑up from pilot or trial runs to fully reliable commercial production.
• Establish and document repeatable process parameters, operating windows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Equip production teams with the tools, training, and process controls necessary to sustain optimized performance over time.

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in precision coating operations.
• Direct expertise applying emulsion or water‑based adhesives to BOPP, PET, or PE substrates.
• Strong technical foundation in rheology, fluid dynamics, die design, and drying system optimization.
• Specific experience with emulsion acrylic pressure‑sensitive adhesives, ideally within label or tape applications.
• Demonstrated success troubleshooting complex coating and process challenges in active manufacturing settings.
