Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)
Location: Mundelein, IL

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team and ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our large-scale production machinery. In this hands-on role, you will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform timely repairs to support seamless manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong electro-mechanical background and experience in high-volume production environments.

Shift:
3rd

Shift: Sunday - Friday, 9:30 p.m.

- 6:00 a.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and servicing on machinery.
• Clean machines and components, including removal and reinstallation as necessary.
• Record and report damaged or worn parts for replacement.
• Order and install replacement parts to minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose root causes of unexpected breakdowns and implement corrective measures.
• Swiftly repair machines to ensure continuous production.
• Support additional facility needs as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in high-volume production settings (food, beverage, pharma, or packaging industries preferred).
• Strong electro-mechanical skillset.
• Proficiency in database management and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Familiarity with plant equipment, including Multi Vac machines, Latisha ovens, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other food processing machinery.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Technical program training or a college degree.
