Role Overview:
Unpack Your Potential
As a Material Handler, you will support all production operations to optimize output, minimize waste, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. You are responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of materials to and from production areas to meet scheduling requirements and ensure production standards align with plant goals.
ScheduleShift: 12-hour day shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation
Note:
Must be available on alternating weekends and some holidays

Possibility Unpacked
- Package and wrap Finished Goods to specific Customer requirements
- Issue and receive raw and sub-assembly material to production floor
- Provide rollstock and pallets to production floor
- Assemble, monitor, and weigh production generated scrap gaylords
- Demonstrate the proper use of a lift truck and maintain forklift license certification
- Deliver and return material substrates to the production equipment to meet scheduling and order requirements as needed.
- Unload plant supplies
- Demonstrate effective interactive skills to support production and scheduling activities related to meet customer needs/requirement, and plant goals
- Good computer skills
- Able to work well with others / self-motivated
- Strong mechanical skills, strong attendance and safety record
- Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 12-hour rotating shift
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to operate heavy machinery continuously
- Standing up to 12 hours per day on a rotating day or evening shift, up to 5 days per week
- Able to drive a forklift (stand-up and sit-down) for up to 12 hours per day
- Occasional twisting, turning, or bending to move items up to 50 lbs
- Alert state of mind to avoid safety hazards
