Inventory and Production Specialist Mundelein, IL What are we looking forAt Stone Systems ( ) we are looking for a Inventory and Production Specialist for our Shop located in Mundelein, IL

The Inventory & Production Specialist position coordinates and controls the activities of the fabrication shop, schedules, and inventory. They are also responsible for meeting organizational and operational objectives.
Job Expectations:
- Perform monthly inventory counts including slabs and non-barcode inventory
- Manage daily safety inspections and logs, including OSHA records
- Maintain Scrap Log and Control with barcode and locations
- Maintain the brief and backlog by coordinating/obtaining material selections and approvals
- Follow up with the Production Manager about employee hours, vacation, sick time, and overtime control
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to obtain material selections/approvals
- Maintain equipment maintenance log and downtime reports
- Participate in both weekly production and weekly maintenance meetings
- Daily meetings with the Production Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Installation Manager to review production results
- Produce the weekly report and include photos of the facility’s cleanliness
- Assist the Production Manager in building equipment improvement projects
- Cut schedule organization according to customers and shop needs.
- Person in charge of keeping the right mix of production in a daily basis
- Work with sales reps, customers, and other members of the shop, to determine upcoming inventory needs
- Review daily DRP for order needs and place orders as required
- Audit of inventory reception for accuracy
- Audit inventory consumption daily for accuracy
- Audit shipments daily for accuracy
- Audit material shortages, and communication with the different departments or customers.
- Ensure all inventory is stored safely to reduce the risk of damage
- Compile inventory reports and issue them to management
- Present inventory overstock report monthly to develop a plan for sales and reduction with the sales team. Track progress and recap monthly
- Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies
- Ensure proper short slab stock target of 25% or more of total inventory
- Manager slow-moving and discontinued stock target of 5% or less of total inventory
- SAP PO# creation and management of invoices from suppliers.
- Maintain stock level accordingly to budget
- Control expenses to be within budget in fabrication supplies.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management

What you need to succeedProfessional Experience
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with product inventory process.
- 2-4 years of administrative experience
Knowledge
Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- CAD
- SAP
Skills
Required:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward

The Salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $55,000 + BONUS.
