Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor mechanical production equipment to meet daily output targets.
  • Conduct rigorous quality inspections to ensure all items adhere to strict product specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and equipment adjustments to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and technical work instructions to guide production processes.
  • Execute first-piece inspections and maintain detailed, accurate production documentation.
  • Uphold all safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards throughout the facility.

Qualifications

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and work instructions.
  • Basic mathematical aptitude for production calculations.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production setting.
