Quality Technician

Contract Duration: Long-term with opportunity for perm conversion

Pay Rate: $25-34/hr

Location: Mundelein, IL 60060 (3 days a week onsite)

Insight Global is hiring a Product Complaint Technician for a well-established medical device company in Mundelein, IL. This role supports a large-scale remediation initiative focused on improving complaint handling processes. The technician will conduct thorough investigations, analyze defect and cause codes, and help resolve systemic issues related to product reportability.

• Review product complaints and evaluate associated defect and cause codes
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Identify reportability concerns and address systemic quality issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and resolution

• High School Diploma or higher
• 1–2+ years of experience in product complaint handling or a related field
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical device or pharmaceutical
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, CAPA, and defect code evaluation
• Strong initiative, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn
• Excellent time management, communication, and critical thinking skills
