Compensation: $85,000 annually
Bonus: Eligible for annual discretionary bonus. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.
Position OverviewLHH is partnering with a growing, globally established manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Engineer to support and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer requirements, supporting internal and supplier audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct internal and supplier quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Participate in customer and third-party audits
- Maintain quality documentation and records to ensure compliance
- Review customer portals, scorecards, and customer-specific requirements
- Support engineering and process development projects from a quality perspective
- Develop and analyze quality reporting metrics and present findings to leadership
- Review customer and supplier purchase orders to ensure quality requirements are met
- Lead corrective action efforts with customers and suppliers
- Maintain calibration records for inspection and testing equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with complex metal parts
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Experience with inspection control methods and quality documentation
- Ability to travel occasionally, including potential overnight travel
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related systems
