Position: Pizza Maker 837 S Lake St at Domino's Franchise Mundelein, IL

Customer Service Rep

Provide customer support for store and phone orders, assist in preparing menu items, manage order flow, and maintain store equipment and cleanliness.

Responsibilities
  • Take and process orders via phone, in‑store, and digital channels.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems and prepare menu items accurately.
  • Handle all in‑store stations: menu creation, customer assistance, and order expediting.
  • Ensure correct monetary change and accurate cash handling.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Operate and maintain all store equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare products and clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Assist with inventory management and reusable supplies.
  • Provide safe customer service during meal preparation and delivery.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willing and able to work all stations in-store (menu creation, phone support, expiry).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Must make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for order processing.
  • Proficient entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Operates all store equipment responsibly.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when working outside.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 33°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
  • Sudden changes in temperature while working inside or outside.
  • Fumes from artificial and natural scents or odors from food, gases, air fresheners, etc.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Confined spaces, such as a walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces, tools, and products up to 500°F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical & Mental Requirements
  • SENSING
    • Speak, hear, and understand verbal communication on telephone and in person.
    • Near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
    • Far vision and night vision needed for delivery personnel.
  • TEMPERAMENTS
    • Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress.
    • Meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
  • STANDING
    • Most tasks performed from a standing position on ceramic tile, concrete, or linoleum.
    • Work surfaces 36″‑48″ high.
  • WALKING
    • Frequent short-distance walking within the store and between store and customer vehicles.
    • Delivery personnel walk between delivery vehicle/e‑bike and customer location.
  • SITTING
    • Paperwork and administrative tasks completed while sitting.
    • Driving to and from deliveries or meetings requires sitting.
  • LIFTING
    • Unloading bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds.
    • Stacking onto shelves up to 72” high.
  • CARRYING
    • Dough trays (~12 lbs), cases (~25 lbs), prepped items, and other supplies.
  • PUSHING/PULLING
    • Move trays or products on dollies, empty trays or trash cans.
    • Force up to 7.5 pounds for a dolly of 24″‑30″.
  • CLIMBING
    • Navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance or deliveries, including up to five flights for delivery.
  • BENDING/CROUCHING/SQUATTING
    • Occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas.
    • Forward bending at pizza assembly station; may repeat frequently.
  • REACHING
    • Continuous reaching upward (up to 72″), downward, and forward for shelving, prep, and customer service.
  • HAND TASKS
    • Eye‑hand coordination required for pizza dough shaping, using pizza peel, cutters, and box assembly.
  • EQUIPMENT & TOOLS
    • Pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, pizza peels, scales.
