Job Description & How to Apply Below
Join Siemens and Build the Future of Rail Electrification For more than 160 years, Siemens has helped power and connect America. Our Rail Electrification team supports operators with modern, networked solutions that move people and goods reliably. Now, we’re looking for a hands-on assembler to help bring our rail communications equipment to life.
A Day in the Life You start by grounding yourself in our ESD-controlled area, reviewing the day’s build plan and the Bill of Materials. You select resistors, relays, capacitors, transistors, and ICs, then populate printed circuit boards with precision. Through-hole soldering is second nature; you also tackle surface-mount work confidently. You trim and form leads, route wire, and solder undersides of boards to clean, reliable standards.
Along the way, you partner with Quality to verify workmanship, keep your bench 5S-ready, and flag any deviation that could impact safety, quality, or productivity. When another line needs a hand, you jump in—because teamwork moves production forward.
