Highway Engineer

Overview

SEH is seeking a Highway Engineer to join our Transportation team. This position can be located in the Munster, IN area or surrounding areas, or remote in Indiana. Hybrid work arrangements may be available.

• Support the planning, design, and construction of a variety of highway and transportation projects.
• Develop creative solutions to complex challenges, working closely with engineers, designers, and other professionals.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
• Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state highway, or transportation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience on INDOT projects.

• Experience designing multi-discipline infrastructure projects.
• Located in Indiana.
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $95,000 to $110,000 based on skill set and experience. Full benefits package is available.
