Overview
SEH is seeking a Sr. Highway Project Manager to join our Transportation team. This position can be located in the Munster, IN area, surrounding areas, or Remote in Indiana with Hybrid options. The role focuses on leading highway projects across planning, design, and construction phases.
Responsibilities- Manage all phases on highway projects including planning, design, and construction.
- Develop creative solutions to complex challenges in collaboration with engineers, designers, and other professionals.
- Maintain close relationships with clients throughout project development and after completion; help build and strengthen new client relationships.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Indiana.
- Strong experience managing highway and transportation projects, including planning, design, and construction on INDOT projects.
- 12+ years of experience in highway and transportation planning, design, and construction.
- 5+ years of project management experience on highway/transportation projects.
- Knowledge of Indiana regional highway/transportation issues and familiarity with municipal government client base.
- Experience in proposal and client management; ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals.
- Residence in Indiana or surrounding areas; ability to travel as needed for meetings, client consultations, business development, on-site inspections, etc.
