The Registry RN is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process while ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates. The RN practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, and Powers Health policies and procedures.

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license through the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a defined clinical area required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Additional specialty certifications as applicable: IMCU/Critical Care:
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS);
  Emergency Department (ED):
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
