FedEx Delivery Driver - Munster

We are looking for regular full‑time and part‑time Fed Ex Delivery drivers with work‑related driving experience and a strong work ethic to complete local residential and business deliveries.

Our ideal candidates have been Local Drivers, Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, Pick‑Up Drivers, Delivery drivers, and experience with companies such as UPS, Amazon, DHL, Wal‑Mart, Uber, Lyft, or comparable services is a plus. We have a job waiting for you as we are hiring urgently and immediately.

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last three years.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
• Pass a Fed Ex Ground criminal background check.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be on time and ready to work each work day.
• Be able to climb stairs.
• Be able to work in all types of weather.
• Have a strong work ethic and a get‑it‑done attitude.
• Prior Fed Ex or Amazon delivery driver experience and experience driving with larger vehicles (box trucks, step‑vans, p1000s) is a plus but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work and live within a 45‑minute commute from the station.

• Operate your vehicle safely at all times.
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in the number of pick‑ups and deliveries, but expect to perform around 150 stops a day.
• Perform a daily inspection of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels.
• Load the vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with the manager.
• Accurately operate the scanner and effectively track the delivery process.
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• Consistently deliver the entire route in a timely manner.
