Staff Accountant

We are recruiting an Accountant in Murfreesboro, TN, and this could be the opportunity you've been looking for outside of the Nashville metropolitan area. As a key member of the finance and accounting team, you will assist with the financial reporting of our Corporate Accounting Department, coordinate month and year-end closes, and work on key initiatives related to accounting policy and critical processes.

We are looking for new accounting professionals with 1+ years of corporate accounting experience, and an Associate's degree in Accounting is required (Bachelor's degree preferred). The ability to meet deadlines, work in a complex accounting and finance environment, and offer solid Excel skills is a must.

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

• Reconcile various GL accounts, A/R, and bank deposits
• Post accounts payable and perform month-end reconciliations
• Review and reconcile A/R
• Assist with updating inventory spreadsheets
• Set up new vendors; provide support to accounting assistants when needed
